Revisit Malvern, PA 9/3/21

Verizon

Based on this information, I would say that Verizon's signal/quality level around the Yardley, PA is problematic (especially around Stony Hill Road).  We knew this based on previous posts.  All carriers have a similar problem.

I would say the trip down route 1 from Langhorne to Bensalem was fair signal wise with a few high congestion areas.  As we know Verizon seems to run a little higher in some cases with regards to RSRQ as compared to some other carriers (this seems to be improving in some cases).

On the PA turnpike towards from Bensalem to 611, it was fair.  Also, the trip from 611 to King of Prussia was fair.

We started seeing some problems with RSRP/RSRQ West of King of Prussia area to Route 29.  Once we got on 29 it was somewhat better until we got closer to Malvern area.  Malvern was ok but all of the carriers started having issues as we got closer to Exton, PA area.  I would say Verizon was the best here though.

AT&T

Based on this information, I would say that AT&Ts signal/quality level around the Yardley, PA is problematic (especially around Stony Hill Road).  All of the carriers have a similar problem.

I would say the trip down route 1 from Langhorne to Bensalem was fair signal wise with a few high congestion areas.

On the PA turnpike towards from Bensalem to 611, the signal level was a little lower than Verizon but this did not contribute to a degradation in RSRQ.  Also, the trip from 611 to King of Prussia was fair with one problem quality area (just West of 309/Fort Washington).

From King of Prussia to 29, there were some weak signal areas but I would say it wasn't as bad as Verizon.  There was even one area near 76/202 that showed good RSRQ values.  I would say that signal level for AT&T was a little worse than Verizon after getting off the 29 exit and heading towards Malvern/Exton but it was still usable.

T-Mobile

Based on this information, I would say that TMobile's signal/quality level around the Yardley, PA is problematic (especially around Stony Hill Road).  All of the carriers have a similar problem.

I would say the trip down route 1 from Langhorne to Bensalem was fair signal wise except for an area around Langhorne, PA with bad signal quality/level.

On the PA turnpike towards from Bensalem to 611, the signal level was the best of the three carriers (more green RSRQ values).  Also, the trip from 611 to King of Prussia was fair with one problem quality area (just West of 309/Fort Washington) which is simliar to what AT&T experienced.

From King of Prussia to 29, there are some weak signal areas (all the carriers seem similar).  One area just prior to the 29 exit seems to go to an even lower quality (as compared to the other two carriers).  Once getting off on 29 heading towards Malvern and Exton, T-Mobile and AT&T were very similar (lower signal quality/levels).  Verizon did the best in this area.

One thing I've seen with T-Mobile as compared to the other carriers is that the RSRP/level values can go a little lower but still be usable.  This may have something to do with the low-band (L71/N71) but not totally sure.
