Weekly Update

Not much new to report but figured I would show the numbers I have so far for this month and a little update on band N41 activity in my area for T-Mobile.  I am starting to see more N71 and even some N41 at my home.

My travels this month have taken me to the Malvern, PA area and to the beach in Belmar, NJ.  Not much else to report.  One thing that I can say seems consistent is that Verizon has the fastest download speeds while on either Belmar or Point Pleasant (where I went last month).

RAN Performance

2G/3G Mode

For a few minutes, my phone switched to 2G/3G on Verizon (September 6th around 1528 - 1530) in an area that is usually covered.  Could have been a phone issue or outage but not sure?

A few other spots that went to 2G/3G for Verizon and AT&T are as follows

Verizon- Malvern, PA near King Road
AT&T- Exton, PA near Swedesford Road (Giant shopping center)
AT&T- Langhorne, PA Route 1 North right before 295 exit.

T-Mobile - 74 Plots Bad out of 32395 Datapoints - 99.77 %

5G (I am not breaking down SA Versus NSA yet since only T-Mobile has SA at the moment)

Verizon - 88 Plots Bad out of 20191 Datapoints - 99.56%

AT&T - 182 Plots Bad out of 12863 Datapoints- 98.59%

Data Performance

Verizon

Average Download: 39.094 Mbps
Average Ping: 55.4 ms
Average Ping Jitter/Deviation: 19 ms

AT&T

Average Download: 46.382 Mbps
Average Ping: 51.5 ms
Average Ping Jitter/Deviation: 18.2 ms

T-Mobile

Average Download: 38.949 Mbps
Average Ping: 55.5 ms
Average Ping Jitter/Deviation: 24.3 ms

Based on a quick look at this data, I would say that T-Mobile is still the best in regards to RAN.  AT&T seems to be the best in regards to data (ping, pingstddev, and Jitter/deviation).
